Transient Bags Hit NY!

Transient Bags recently got in contact with me and BillThee the notorious nyc bike courier via John Prolly in order to test their newest creation out here on the streets of ny. I was excited from the jump, because i already admired their smaller hip-pouches. Alex at Transient has been working very hard on getting out what seems like the perfect messenger sling bag. A real messenger bag. Meaning.... one that can fit ridiculous packages inside all the while keeping them toasty warm and dry.
Ive been riding this pink bitch for the past few weeks and I like it alot. I usually use a Chrome backpack, which is alot heavier, or a manhattan portage sling that is almost as large, but the strap really sucks in comparison to the buckle that Transient has here which i believe is similiar to P.A.C. bags setup.

This thing is holding up great and ive been trying to beat the shit out of it. Ill let you all know how it goes!

Check Prollys page for some more shots!

that bag looks nice, but is it really flat? can it hold a copy box?

It gets huge. It has really good compression straps on the bottomw so it doesnt have that bulky feel to it. Check this out. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4046/4296196964_0f6fa78a1b.jpg
