I was just rolling up Sullivan street an hour so ago and I see this guy looking mad suspicious with latex gloves on yanking on this wheel thats on this bike still locked up. I say "is that yours?" and pull out the camera. The rest you can see from the following video until he got in my face and i turn the camera off. After a struggle, he went back behind this building and hid the wheel. I called the cops on this mouthbreather. Look at that mug.... GAH!
They came and he tried to flip it on me, and say that i was working with an accomplice who loosened the wheel and i came by to scoop it. The owner of the wheel eventually came by and confirmed that he did not know this guy and got his wheel back. By the way, he is the super at 115 Sullivan street in manhattan. DONT STEAL BIKES BRO. NYC
Someone in NY get his bosses name. Propty manager co and or bldg owner & post it. Write polite letters and email. Get this asshole super fired if he is not already.
Way to go! My sons bike was stolen piece by piece here in LA(he kept replacing what was taken)until one day it was stolen altogether. He now has a twenty pound lock on his bike. Now I keep an eye out for this kind crap, I will smack a mo#%$&^^er fu^&***%$@er if I catch them stealing off any bike!
Fuck yeah, that's what's up, man!--cyclists stickin' up for other cyclists. good lookin' out! very well played. whether it's bike thieves or aggressive/violent motorists, perps who make a cyclists' life worse than it needs to be, need to be verbally addressed then-and-there, in-person, just like you did here. big ups.

Oh man...that guy is pretty bold. Good job on confronting him and I hope it keeps guys like this off the street.
